John Massey
John Massey first encountered Quantum Orange while searching for personal growth and direction over 30 years ago.
“What I discovered was a community of people who were all working towards a better future, which was exactly what I needed,” John says.
John knew he had more potential than he was using, but wasn’t sure how to get where he wanted to go. That early work with Quantum Orange had such a profound impact for John it completely changed the way he lives his life.
“I learned I have a choice about who I want to be and these days I live life on my own terms,” John shares.
30 years later, John says he’s still using the tools he learned with Quantum Orange on a daily basis. “I use them in conversations with myself, in the way I interact with others, in decision making and being kind to myself. The tools also allow me to get back on track easily when I do get something wrong,” says John.
John met the love of his love in a Quantum Orange workshop. They’ve got two children, now 20, for whom Quantum Orange tools and techniques have simply been a way of life.

Oliver
“It’s the foundation for the way we were raised, it’s just always been there,” says Oliver, John’s son. “I learned to use these tools so early in my life that they’re just part of how I process everything now, I barely notice it - and that mostly came from watching Dad use the same tools.”
When Oliver was training to compete in the Australian Surf Boat Racing Championships, he noted they were completing strenuous physical workouts to prepare, and there was immense pressure present, but there was zero mental training in place for the teams. He called Paul.
They did some work together to ensure Oliver was mentally prepared for peak performance and competition pressure. “I learned to put systems in place to support myself mentally,” says Oliver.
Throughout the process of competing at that level, Oliver learned something interesting about himself. “What I know and how I deal with life - I’ve realised that’s not normal for someone my age. I’m a lot further ahead mentally and emotionally than other twenty year olds,” Oliver says.
“I don’t remember being near as emotionally intelligent or caring as he is at his age - he’s open and up for conversations about really deep things and can interact successfully with anyone, which I find really impressive,” adds John.
John & Oliver both feel they’ve been able to use the Quantum Orange material to create a positive impact on others in their circle simply by osmosis.
